Air, Rail, Ground and Public Transportation
Boston is well-known as a good walking city. All the different neighborhoods and attractions are a nice walk or short T ride away. The public transportation system, fondly called the "T" first started service in 1889.

Logan International Airport is a short taxi ride away. We suggest not renting a car as parking in downtown Boston is expensive.Amtrak offers service to nearby South Station, with direct service from New York, Washington D.C. and Philadelphia.
